India – A market with a growing appetite for Fuji Tools
2015 brought large changes to Fuji in India. With the arrival of a dedicated Sales Manager and a change to the business structure sales have has expanded considerably.
Already 2015 brought a good growth and the expectations for 2016 are even higher. 8 new partners came on board last year and our plan is to add to this number to achieve market coverage. These partners are either specialists in metalworking or assembly and are now ensuring that the Fuji reach in the market is much expanded.
“India is a good fit for Fuji. We often find that our customers face difficult production environments and harsh conditions and this is where the robustness of our tools can be a big help. We also see Japanese companies expanding their production in India and here we want to make sure we have a good structure to serve them there as well as in Japan. The domestic Indian production with power-houses such as Tata, Mahindra and Godrej are also demanding more and more higher level tools to help them increase productivity. With a dedicated team, as well as experienced and highly motivated distribution partners, we are building a sustainable and scalable way to bring value to our customers” – says Robert Karlsson, Global Business Development Manager.
